[Lesson 20] 가정법 2 [가정법 - 복습] * 부사 - 부사절 단순조건문 : 일어날 법 한 일 가정문 : 반대되는 것 1) 단순조건문 if/when + S + 현재시제의 동사 , S + will/can + 동사원형 2) 현재사실의 반대(present unreal) - 가정법 과거 If + S + 과거시제 , S +  would + 동사원형 were should  could  might 3) 과거사실의 반대(past unreal) - 가정법 과거완료 If + S + had + p.p. , S +  would + have + p.p. should  could  might p.305 - 306 [가정법 특수구문] 1) I wish 가정법 ① 현재사실의 반대(present unreal) I wish + S + 과거시제 ~라면 좋을 텐데 were ex1) I wish I were a student. (내가 학생이라면 좋을 텐데.) I had more money. (돈이 좀 더 있으면 좋을 텐데.) I had a girlfriend. (여자 친구가 있다면 좋을 텐데.) I didn't have a girlfriend. I could drive. (운절할 줄 알면 좋을 텐데.) ex2) I wish I were a man. ex3) I wish you had an eye for woman. ② 과거사실의 반대(past unreal) I wish + S + had + p.p. ~였다면 좋았을 텐데 ex1) I wish I had studied English harder. (영어공부를 더 열심히 했었더라면 좋았을 텐데.) I hadn't gone out for drinks yesterday. (어제 술 마시러 나가지 않았더라면 좋았을 텐데.) I hadn't stayed up all night last night. (어제 밤 밤새지 말았을 것을.) I had stayed up all night last night. ex2) I wished I had not told such a lie to my mother. (어머니께 그런 거짓말은 하지 않았어야 했는데.) 2) as if[though] 가정법 ① 현재사실의 반대(present unreal) As if[though] + S + 과거시제 마치 ~처럼 were ex1) She speaks English very well as if she were American. ex2) She spoke as if she knew everything about me. ② 과거사실의 반대(past unreal) As if[though] + S + had + p.p. 마치 ~였던 것처럼 ex1) She speaks Korean very well as if she had been in Seoul. ex2) He looks as if he had been sick for a long time. p.301 [가정법 미래] If + S + would + 동사원형 , S +  would(will) + 동사원형 (~일 리는 없지만) ~하면 ~할 것이다 should   should(shall) were to    could(can)    might(may) ※ were to의 경우, 앞으로 일어날 수 있는 가능성이 거의 없을 때 쓰며     주절에는 조동사의 과거형을 쓰는 것이 원칙이다. ex) (Even) if the sun were to rise in the west, my love would be unchanged forever. ※ should의 경우 예의를 갖추어주고 싶을 때 사용(겸양어) ex1) If you should have any questions regarding this product, please contact us. ex2) If you should need my help, please tell me first. p.308 [if의 생략 - 도치구문의 경우] * if의 생략 : 가정법 미래/과거/과거완료 구문에서 조건절을 이끄는 접속사 if는 도치구문일 때 생략할 수 있으며,   이 때 조건절의 주어와 동사는 도치된다 ex) If you should have any questions regarding this product, please contact us. 주어, 동사 도치   → Should you have any questions regarding this product, please contact us. ex1) If he should come now, everything would be OK.    → Should he come now, everything would be OK. ex2) If you had come to South Korean one year earlier, you could have seen my mother alive.    → Had you come to South Korean one year earlier, you could have seen my mother alive. ex3) I could propose to you if I were ten years younger.    → I could propose to you were I ten years younger. p.311 [If only 구문] 1) If only + 주어 + 과거형 ~하기만 한다면 ex) If only I could speak English well! (영어를 잘 할 수 있으면 좋으련만!) 2) If only + 주어 + 과거완료형 ~만 했다면 ex) If only I had known about her hidden story! (그녀의 말 못할 사정을 알았더라면!) ※ What if + S + V ~라면 어떡할까 ex) What if he likes you? (그가 너 좋아하면 어떡해?)
