Store Clerk: I will if I can. As you can see, things are a little dead here at this time of night. What¡¯s the problem? Linda: Well, it seems my battery is dead, and I need a jump.

Store Clerk: Oh, Bad luck on a night like this! I¡¯m afraid I can¡¯t help you since I don¡¯t have a car. But I am sure that Sally, the cashier in Lane 9, can help you. She¡¯s got a car with an enormous battery that could jump a tank.

Linda: Thanks.
