Getting a driver’s license (II)

After you pass the exams, have an eye exam and take your picture- your license is issued! (모든 시험을 합격한 후, 사진을 찍고 면허증을 발급받는다.)

Task

1) How would the applicant get a permanent license?

2) You finished your business with the officer at the DMV, and find out where you can apply for the test and take the test. Ask a question.

Applicant: I’d like to ask one more question. Assuming I actually pass the written test and the road test, what happens next?

DMV Officer: At that point we will take your photo and your fingerprint, then give you an eye test. You’ll get a temporary license that will be valid until you receive a permanent one in the mail several weeks later.

Applicant: Oh, Okay. Thanks for all your help. Oh, one more thing… Is there any special place I’ll need to go at the DMV when I want to get my application and take the written test?

DMV Officer; Just look for the longest line and get in it.

Applicant: Thanks.

4) valid: 유효한.
